Exhibition Recap | Flashforge Successfully Concludes Formnext 2025!
From November 18–21, Formnext 2025—the world’s largest and most influential event for additive manufacturing—successfully concluded at Messe Frankfurt. Flashforge engaged in in-depth exchanges and idea-sharing with global partners, industry professionals, and long-time users, returning home with valuable insights and achievements.

About Formnext
Recognized as the benchmark event for Europe’s additive manufacturing industry, Formnext is a globally authoritative platform showcasing cutting-edge technologies from materials and equipment to software and solutions. This year’s show brought together more than 800 leading companies worldwide, serving as a central stage for understanding market trends and fostering international cooperation.

Full Industrial-Grade Product Line Shines at the Booth
Throughout the four-day exhibition, three key Flashforge solutions drew continuous attention from professional visitors, partners, and international media—becoming one of the standout highlights of the hall.
01. AD5X
AD5X is a high-speed multi-color FDM 3D printer equipped with Flashforge’s IFS Intelligent Multi-Color Feeding System, enabling seamless switching of up to four colors in a single print. With print speeds reaching 600 mm/s and compatibility with a wide range of materials—from PLA to flexible TPU—it provides an efficient and versatile solution for complex models, creative props, and small-batch production.

02. WJ530
As a flagship solution in industrial casting applications, the WJ530 reduces jewelry wax pattern production time by 89%–95% compared with traditional hand-carving. Offering exceptional precision and stable print quality, it has become a professional choice for jewelry manufacturers.
The printer achieves 4 hours per inch of build height, delivering a stable monthly output of 10–12kg of wax per unit—ideal for high-volume production. For jewelry designers, it unlocks the ability to rapidly materialize intricate ideas while helping manufacturers meet the rising demand for customization and fast turnaround.

03. R1 Max
R1 Max represents Flashforge’s latest innovation in industrial-grade photopolymer technology, built on the concept of “3D Printing Like Injection Molding.” Unlike traditional molding, it eliminates tooling requirements and shortens production cycles by more than 70%, accelerating time-to-market.
Key performance highlights include:
- ±65 µm dimensional accuracy
- 92% fidelity in part reproduction
- 96% production consistency for reliable batch-level uniformity
- Compatibility with 20+ industrial materials, including ABS-like, nylon-like, and elastomers. Combined with its fully automated workflow, R1 Max enables true end-use production—turning prototypes directly into final products.

Industry Experts Affirm Flashforge’s Capabilities
During the exhibition, Flashforge held in-depth discussions with industry KOLs and global distribution partners.
One long-time technical evaluator commented:
“AD5X performs exceptionally well when printing complex engineering parts. The stability and efficiency are impressive—this is a machine ready for real production.”
Many international partners also praised Flashforge’s comprehensive product lineup—from desktop to industrial-grade devices—recognizing it as a strong competitive advantage for their local markets.

The End of the Show Marks a New Beginning
Beyond equipment, Flashforge showcased a series of end-use applications from automotive, consumer electronics, sports and medical, and miniature model industries—demonstrating the company’s strong industrialization capabilities in complex structures, lightweight designs, and fine surface finishing.
