I outsourced some test prints on a Flashforge, but the issue was that the part required very delicate and numerous supports for a standard print. The service provider printed it in wax—theoretically a superior material—but honestly, the level of detail, at least in this test, left something to be desired. I felt that fine details were lost, resulting in quality inferior to that of a commercial resin printer. The explanation given was that the soluble interface used by the Flashforge causes a loss of detail in such cases. While it technically enables the printing of complex geometries, there appears to be a trade-off regarding fine detail quality.
